Good news for the hot-melt sector, thermoplastic adhesives sold in the form of solid cylindrical sticks of various diameters, designed to be applied with hot glue.

According to research company Market and Markets, the sector will grow from a global value of $9.18 billion in 2025 to $11.13 billion by 2030, with a CAGR (Compound Annual Growth Rate) of 3.93%.

This type of adhesive is widely used for packaging solutions, furniture, woodworking and bookbinding, among other things.

The world of adhesives, glues, sealants, foams, tapes, resins, coatings, laminates and films will come together at Adhesives Bonding & Sealants – ABS Europe 2026, the first event of its kind in Italy and the Mediterranean area, which will take place from 27 to 29 October 2026 at Fiera di Vicenza.
